Re the Nepalese Bantam Quail eggs - it's unusual for them to crack so early and then hatch so I wouldn't count your chickens just yet. Sometimes you can get a few eggs that crack and ooze out the insides - if the eggs have been in for a couple of days the insides may well be brown in colour and could smell. WooWoo
